This seminar is to discus about socio-economic problems of rural area in Hiroshima Prefecture from viewpoints of the SDGs for doctral cource stutents who have various nationalities and study various subjects. by the following steps.
1) Learn about "important facts" by UNDP.
2) Field survey to rural area in Hiroshima Prefecture from the socio-economic viewpoints.
3) Discus about socio-economic problems of rural area with workshops.
4) Make some proposals for rural communities and give presenteitions of them to poeple who live there.

We will have one night home-stay in rural area.

You have to make a proposal with you group.

Location: Sera Town, Hiroshima Prefecture
You must participate to this home-stay seminar.
Home-stay fee (about 10,000 JPY) is needed. 
Grading Method Proposal (50%), Contribution for workshop (25%), Report of field survey (25%) 
Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it You will be given lectures by professors who have practical experiences at local government office or a federation of agricultural cooperatives in Japan, regarding as food, agriculture and rural policy based on the thought of SDGs.
In addition to it, people who have practical experiences will give us lectures at all places we visit. 
Message Capacity of this class is 15.
