Intensive seminar for a whole day, and another whole day presentation (total two days), to lead an original solution for one of the SDGs (sustanable development goals), through a series of brainstorming and idea mining process within a student group (consisted of 4 students)

/Class Outline
Students, who are going to be highly specialized human resources (= doctoral course students) in varieties of research fields, will be assembled in a small group (4 persons from different backgrounds) and lead a plausible solution for one of the SDGs. The language used in the class is Japanese. The students’ groups are expected to find out an effective solution, through processes of “mind-opening”, “brainstorming”, “idea classification” and “action plan making”.  Based on the previous discussion, each group gives a presentation.  Submit final report by two weeks after the intensive seminar.  
Class Schedule lesson1- lesson5
Intensive seminar on December 5, 9AM until 6PM. Students will be assembled in a small group (4 persons from different backgrounds) and lead a plausible solution for one of the SDGs, through “mind-opening”, “brainstorming”, “idea classification” and “action plan making”.

Students will be gathering to the room and delivering each group presentation, which should be based on the previous discussion.  


No exam, but the score will be given based on the presentation and final report.

No preliminary knowledge is needed 
Requirements Must attend all of; (1) Intensive seminar on December 5-6, (2) Submit final report by December 18 via Bb9.  Nonabsense is strictly required. Students who are not trying active discussion should not take the course. Max 40 students by lot. 
Grading Method Based on the presentation and the final report.
