This course deals with basis of fundamental natural environment and management methods. Students will understand it based on natural environment and its management in Higashi-Hiroshima campus in Hiroshima University. 
Expected OutcomeThe goals of this course are to understand the importance of environmental conservation and management.

The objective of this course is to gain a fundamental understanding of natural environment, the history and buried cultural property, the plants and animals that liveHigashi-hiroshima campus. Students will be thinking about maintenance, the management of the environment for the campus.

Environmental report in Hiroshima University will be distributed in 1st lesson and other reports can be obtained through the website of Hiroshima University. In these reports, nature and management of nature in the campus are introduced and content is different year by year.  To read these reports will help improve understanding of each lecture. 
Requirements The capacity of the course is 80 students. 
Grading Method Your final grade will be calculated according to the following process: Term-end report 30%, Short examination and report 70%. The pass, the students must earn at least 60 points out of 100.
