Expected OutcomeBy leaning the current status of starvation, destitution and environmental affairs in the world, students will have a view how they will contend with these difficulties, for building peaceful world. 
Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Our world is now encountering many conflicts caused by starvations, destitutions, and environmental affairs, which are all threatening peace. In this lecture, current status of these issues will be understood, especially by contrasting with food-production. Also, as measures to counter these threats, activities by WORLD FOOD PROGRAMME and JAPAN INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION AGENCY will be explained by the lecturers invited from these organizations.

Students should be interested in the relating topics, and primarily lean from various media.  
Requirements  
Grading Method Reports 60%, attitude in participation to the class 20%. Attendace 20%. As a common requrement through the all peace-building lectures, a full-report will be assigend after visiting to peace-monument, and if not, credit will not be given.

Other The report on peace-related monuments and videos is an essential assignment. When you fail to submit the report, the credit will not be given.

The 2nd term course--> July 7th
The 3rd term course--> October 21st
