Plants often face environmental stresses in their life. Among various factors reducing plant production, we study what water stresses (drought, salinity, and osmotic stresses) and water stress tolerance in plants from the view point of physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology. We also study how photosynthetic activity is affected by water stress.  
Class Schedule Read scientific papers (TBA) and make a presentation on that topic.

1. Water stress (drought, salinity, and osmotic).

2. Mechanisms of environmental stress tolerance in plants.

3. Regulation of gene expression in response to environmental stresses and biological function of the gene product.

4.Analysis of photosynthetic limitation factors under environmental stresses.
