Selects a theme on exploration activity and assignment research in junior/senior high school science education, specifically studies development and selection of teaching contents and structure of learning material from contents-based studies perspective, and enhances knowledge and skill from contents-based study perspective for science education practice.

"Selects experimental teaching contents for exploration in physics education at junior/high school, develops such teaching contents, executes experiment, and considers its structure as learning material. During course period, conducts a study on 3 to 4 experimental teaching contents that a student developed on their own to summarize/submit it as report.
Lesson 1 and Lesson 2 to be handled by all instructors. From Lesson 3, instructor in charge is as follows. Physics area: Tstutaoka, Chemistry area:Amimoto, Biology area: Takeshita (plants), Tomikawa (animals), and Geoscience area: Yamasaki.
Lesson 1  Orientation
 By explaining goal and outline of the course, clarifies its objective to have students raise awareness of issue.
Lesson 2  Study of exploration issue to develop
Discusses significance of exploration activity and issue research at science education in junior/senior high schools, and narrows down a theme for each student.
Lesson 3 and 4  Investigation of existing exploration issue
Investigates existing exploration issue related to each student’s theme clarifies its problem, and fixes an image of exploration issue to develop.
Lesson 5 Determination of exploration issue
 Determines contents of specific exploration issue
Lesson 6 to 12 Development/Research of exploration issue
Conducts development/research on exploration issue.
Lesson 13 and 14 Evaluation of exploration issue
Presents results of research among students and evaluates them each other.
Lesson 15 Development of report
Submits a report on developed exploration issue.
