Aims at learning about basic knowledge and method required for conducting a research of mathematics education for writing a master's thesis.

Depending on student’s research theme, contents/procedure of the course to be determined. Searches/Reads/Reviews basic materials required for resolution of research theme that the graduate student has at entry. Through the process, provides understanding on research method for arithmetic education and thesis writing method, identifies a theme of master thesis, and promotes the research.

"Lesson 1 through 5: Identify and narrow down the research theme.
Lesson 6 through 8: Through study of previous researches, identify/materialize purpose/contents/method of the research.
Lesson 9 through 14: Proceeds with consideration by clarifying positioning of the current efforts in the research.
Lesson 15: Clarify research results and issues in the 1st semester.
Grading Method Students to be comprehensively assessed by performance in each seminar.
