Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Students will comprehensively learn about biochemistry, applied microbiology, fermentation engineering, enzyme use science, and environmental protection. Engineering lectures introduce energy problems, food problems, current awareness of environmental issues, and methods to approach these from a microorganism standpoint. In addition, students will learn the basics of amino acid fermentation and various forms of brewing, as well as fermentation physiology and microbial control. 
Class Schedule •Details of biodiesel production, bioethanol production by yeast, and current awareness of energy problems; alcohol fermentation yeast characteristics
•Bioplastics production from biomass using microorganism functions, and decomposition of bioplastics
・Current awareness of food problems and use of microorganisms

•Wastewater treatment technology taking into account environmental conservation and microorganisms
•Studies of enzyme use for environmental conservation
