To learn the basics of molecular cell biology, in particular, about membrane structure, membrane transport of small molecules and electrical properties of membranes, intracellular compartments and protein sorting, intracellular vesicular traffic, cell communication, cytoskeleton, cell cycle, and programmed cell death.
