Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Since ancient times, human beings have used both poison and medicine. Either can damage the health or easily destroy life if not administered properly. An old saying goes, “If you use too much medicine, it becomes poison.” Why does medicine work? How does it become poison? This course will chiefly outline the uses and side effects of medicines used in medical practices for large animals.

lesson3:Veterinary drugs and a positive list: Issues in medicines for industrial animals
lesson4:Antibacterial agents: Antimicrobial agents, mechanism of action, and method of use
lesson5:Anthelmintic: Drug used for harmful insects and pest control; mechanism of action
lesson6:Anti-inflammatory drugs: Types and mechanism of action
