Class Objectives
/Class Outline
The aim of this course is to provide you with an introduction to environmental science and plant production by focusing on key principles that underlie the phenomenon of “the bio-fuel using tropical crops, the bagasse charcoal, CO2 profile in the mangrove forest, a reduction techniques of greenhouse gas” You will be introduced to the many levels at which plant production occurs; from the smallest cell, to the entire Biosphere. Once you have a good grasp of the basics, you will apply your knowledge and critical thinking skills in order to understand and discuss possible solutions to some of the big issues in biosphere today.
