The purpose of this course is to provide students with instructions of literature reading, field surveys, and laboratory experiments of themes selected from earth science phenomena concerning science education contents and contribute to the students’ graduation thesis writing.

Students will choose either a research on teaching contents for junior high school or high school physics or a material research for development of a nature observation program, select an appropriate region, and conduct literature researches, field researches, and laboratory experiments (based on a sedimentological method).
