This is a specialized basic course of the Program in Science Education. The purpose of this course is for students to acquire the basic and fundamental skills for science observations and experiments, particularly physics, and to cultivate capabilities to examine and study the fundamentals and basics of physics through observations and experiments.

Students are required to write a report after experiments and submit it before the next class. 
A textbook for experiments will be distributed in the first lesson. There will be an assignment for each experiment. Students should refer to related books when writing a report.

Preparation and
"Lesson1:Orientation. Students will be provided with explanations of preparation for experiments, safety matters, report writing methods, etc.
Lesson2: Students are expected to learn data processing utilizing computers
From Lesson3: Students are expected to read the textbooks and study procedures and fundamental theories to be prepared for experiments before each lesson. After experiments are done, students are expected to organize and analyze data and briefly report the contents of the experiments to the instructor before the end of each lesson.
After each lesson, students are required to write and submit a report on the results of the experiments and consideration.
Requirements "This course has two classes: one for students of the Program in Science Education and the other for other students. Due to the number of laboratory instruments, the upper limit of the number of students is 32 per class.

It is desirable that students have taken ‘Practical Work in Physics ‘ and “ Scientific Literacy of Physics I & II’.
The number of students who can take this course may be limited due to the reasons of the laboratory and laboratory equipment.
Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on contribution in experiments (40%) and reports (60%). The evaluation items are experiment reports, experiment notebooks, and state of experiments
