・Being able to acquire the ability of guiding method for encouraging students with disability to learn and the ability of making and utilizing method of teaching materials and aids for them to learn effectively.

" This course will provide students with lectures on how to make a lesson in education for children with health impairments and the realities of autonomous activities provided by type of disability and sickness. At the conclusion of this course, the students should have the basic knowledge related to specific instruction methods and educational practices for children with health impairments.

Lesson3: Equipment to assist computer operation
Lesson4: Equipment to assist communication
Lesson5: Equipment to assist learning activities
Lesson6: Equipment to assist daily living and leisure activities
Lesson7: Fitting of support equipment and switches
Lesson8: Grasping the actual condition of sensory function
Lesson9: Grasping the actual condition of communication function
Lesson10: Grasping the actual condition of cognitive function
Lesson11: Grasping the actual condition of motor function
Lesson12: Development of a teaching plan based on the grasped actual condition

Requirements This course is only open to students of the Program in Special Needs School Teacher Education. It is highly recommended for the third major students to take this course.
Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on reports (to be evaluated from the aspect of learning level of practical knowledge of AAC approach in education for children with health impairments) and class participation.
