To understand basic principles to applied biology such as maintenance mechanisms of individual and species of fish in ecosystem by study of relationships between feeding environment and genetic characters through field research and laboratory experiments.

lesson 6: Determination of hatching rate in brine shrimp production.
lesson 7: Calculation of feeding rate for moon jellyfish.
lesson 8: Benthos sampling at a tidal flat.
lesson 9: Coastal fish sampling by fishing and casting net.
lesson 10: Correlation analysis between sedimental environment and benthic community.
lesson 11: Relationship between coastal fish morphology and their feeding styles.
lesson 12: Benthos sampling at a middle reach of a river.
lesson 13: Correlation analysis between river environment and aquatic insect community.

To acquire basic knowledge to aquaculture such as reproduction, ontogeny and genetics using triploid silver carp and its clonal offspring, to understand how to determine hatching and feeding rates of aquatic animals, and to master analysis methods for community structure, stomach contents and various environmental factors using marine/freshwater fish and benthos collected in the field.
