Objectives
To study the methodology and technique necessary for the
assessment of environmental dynamics.
To understand the transportation and cycling of environmental load
substances such as nutrients in terrestrial and coastal marine ecosystems.
 
Class Schedule The practice covers
1) Field survey : One day field trip to Kurose river to learn the current
environmental condition from river-mouth to river-head and its water
catchment area
2) Laboratory exercise: Measurement and analysis of various physical
(e.g. temperature, salinity, pH, dissolved oxygen), chemical (e.g. inorganic
nutrients, organic C,N and endocrine disruptor in water and plants) and
biological (e.g. phytoplankton, zooplankton, bacteria) parameters.

3) Presentation by students and discussion: To be announced
