| 授業の目標・概要等 |
As global challenges such as infectious diseases and refugee movements become increasingly prevalent, the importance of international cooperation in education continues to grow. Grounded in the sociology of education, this course offers students the opportunity to learn about key approaches to educational development, analytical perspectives for examining educational issues, and research methodologies. Through this process, students will develop the critical perspectives necessary to understand and analyze global issues.
You students will first gain an overview of educational development and deepen their understanding of basic concepts and key terminology. The course will then explore how particular topics emerge as issues and how they are debated at the global level, examining selected themes in greater depth. In the latter part of the course, students will learn research methods, primarily focusing on qualitative data analysis, to support their own investigations. Finally, students will be expected to select a global issue topic and analyze it. |
