授業の目標・概要等	In Anthropology of Health I & II, students will learn the basics of ethnographic fieldwork for qualitative research in Health. After learning essential ideas, ethics, and case studies, students will practice ethnographic observations and interviews. Important: students are required to take Anthropology of Health I & II simultaneously. 重要: Anthropology of Health I と Anthropology of Health II は、必ず同時に受講して下さい。

予習・復習への アドバイス	Read the assigned reading materials and prepare comments and questions for classroom discussion. Engage with fieldwork (interview) assignments outside the class periods.
履修上の注意 受講条件等	Students are required to take Anthropology of Health I & II simultaneously. Students who wish to take this course must attend the first class. English is used as the main medium of communication, but Japanese can be used supplementarily.
成績評価の基準等	Class contribution, engagement with the assignments, presentations, and essays will be graded comprehensively.

実務経験の概要と それに基づく授業内容	Having been an officer at a diplomatic mission abroad, the lecturer would discuss how knowledge of anthropology is related to global health knowledge and interventions.
