授業の目標・概要等	This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of research methods. It covers a range of topics essential to understanding and conducting research effectively. Students will gain the skills and knowledge needed to design their studies, collect and analyze data, and write research papers.
授業計画	Week 1: Introduction to Research Methods Overview of research methods and their importance The research process: steps and stages Types of research: exploratory, descriptive, experimental, correlational, qualitative, and quantitative Ethical considerations in research Choosing a research topic and formulating research questions Week 2: Research Design and Sampling Defining research design and its role Experimental vs. non-experimental designs Sampling methods: random, stratified, convenience sampling Week 3: Data Collection Methods Quantitative data collection methods: surveys, experiments, and observational studies Qualitative data collection methods: interviews and focus groups Pros and cons of different data collection methods Data sources: primary and secondary data Developing data collection instruments Week 4: Data Analysis and Interpretation Quantitative data analysis Qualitative data analysis Interpreting research findings Drawing conclusions and implications from data Presentation of the research results Week 5: Writing Research Article/Report Structure and content Citing sources and avoiding plagiarism Peer review and the publication process Week 6: Presentations Week 7: Presentations Week 8: Presentations
