授業の目標・概要等	Technology management is one of the most critical aspects in order to improve long term performance of firms. The course mainly discusses technology, innovation and operations at the firm level, regarding theoretical foundations as well as management practices such as lean operations and total quality management. The other focus is on the relationship between technology management and the major fields of management studies including strategy, organization and human resource management. In this context, the firm cases from developed, emerging and developing countries are introduced.

予習・復習への アドバイス	1-14. Read assigned material before class and review class discussion afterwards. 15. Prepare term paper abstract before class and modify it after class based on comments from others.

成績評価の基準等	Grading is determined by participation in discussion (25%), weekly assignment (25%), term paper abstract presentation (10%), and final paper evaluation (40%).
