授業の目標・概要等 This course is designed for graduate students to brief about the standard protocol of research methodology the importance of health system management.

The overall objectives of the course for participants are to:
1. Explain the steps of developing research protocol and different types of research methods.
2. Describe the way of research findings analysis and utilization of human information.
3. Clarify health project financial benefit analysis and importance of health economics.
4. Share the concept of health policies, strategies, programs and health system management.

Specific course objectives:
After successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Detect the principles of research methodology and compare the outcomes of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
2. Analyze the research findings, use data for project analysis and evaluate the research outcome.
3. Define the benefit of the project finance analysis, and consequences of health economics and medical audit.
4. Understand the strategies of health program planning, health policies, health administration and management of the public health services.

メッセージ Research methodology is a logical and systematic approach to design any research protocol and to conduct the thesis or study. Health system management is a structured way to mobilize and allocate resources for preventing and treating diseases and injuries. Thus students are advised to have a clear concept of research methodology and health system management to develop new methodical tools, concepts, and theories to solve and understand scientific and nonscientific problems.
