授業の目標・概要等	By the end of the term students should be able to more clearly and more passionately express original thinking and awareness of issues of living in society. The topics to be covered are listed separately to give students an idea of what kind of topics will be introduced, discussed, and applied. In actual practice, the topics will not be strictly covered one by one in order, but rather we will explore the topics in an integrated approach during the term.

予習・復習への アドバイス	Always come to class prepared to actively participate. Volunteers are always appreciated. Students who are engaged in the class will be noticed. Good teachers are developed by first being good students. We should never stop learning.

成績評価の基準等	Regular participation, timely completion of assignments, and observable improvement in students’ language skills (fluency, accuracy, and complexity) will help their grade. In order to successfully complete (pass) this class, you must have less than 5 absences and obtain a minimum total score of 60. 50% Active and consistent participation 50% Reports

メッセージ	Communicative Writing II is the second part of a writing course designed to help students further develop their written communication abilities (i.e., abilities to effectively communicate their ideas and opinions using appropriate, accurate, and concise English). Students will also learn to develop and write well-organized reports on various social topics. All four skills will be used to encourage both broad and deep thinking and learning.
