| 授業の目標・概要等 |
Enviromental problems, such as sustainable energy system, climate change and social damages of natural disaster, cannot be solved by any single discipline and we must have a competency to manage, or even initiate, multidisciplinary problem solving. Future global leaders should thus be equipped with, or at least understand, a multidisciplinary perspective and innovation skills to address various wicked problems.
While the "Environmental Economics and Policy I" gives students an opportunity to understand problems in environmental policy and economics through case method, you will be start learning skills to create new policy idea based on methodologies of design thinking and innovation science in this course. Basic theories and methods of design thinking and innovation will be offered, and a concrete social issue would then be presented for your practice of policy design. This is an introductory course for students to develop the competency to practice the methods and knowledge of design thinking and innovation to address environmental issues. |
