　このたびの「令和8年熊本地震」により、熊本県内の広い範囲で大きな被害が発生しています。被災地支援のため、ボランティア活動への参加を検討されている方もいると思います。
　被災地では、復旧・復興に向けて多くの支援が必要とされています。一方で、活動内容や受入状況は地域ごとに異なり、事前の確認なく現地へ向かうことで、被災地の運営や支援活動に支障をきたす場合があります。
　ボランティア活動に参加する際は、熊本県や社会福祉協議会、災害ボランティアセンター等が発信する最新情報を確認し、現地の受入条件や活動内容、安全対策等を十分に把握したうえで、活動参加について適切に判断してください。
　また、活動に当たっては、ボランティア保険への加入や健康管理を徹底し、被災された方々への配慮を十分に行いながら活動してください。

The 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake has caused extensive damage across a wide area of Kumamoto Prefecture. Some of you may be considering participating in volunteer activities to support the affected communities.
The disaster-stricken areas require significant assistance for recovery and reconstruction. At the same time, volunteer needs and acceptance conditions vary from region to region. Traveling to affected areas without confirming local conditions in advance may place additional burdens on local operations and support activities.
If you wish to participate in volunteer activities, please carefully review the latest information provided by Kumamoto Prefecture, social welfare councils, and disaster volunteer centers. Make sure you fully understand the volunteer requirements, activities, and safety measures before deciding whether to participate.
In addition, please ensure that you enroll in volunteer insurance, take appropriate precautions regarding your health and safety, and be considerate of those affected by the disaster throughout your volunteer activities.
