Faculty members and students from Santo Tomás University in Colombia will soon be visiting Hiroshima University.
Their visit aims to deepen their understanding of the lessons learned from Hiroshima’s post-war reconstruction,
as well as to explore topics related to peace, law, and social development.

To mark this occasion, Professor Katayanagi from HU will give a special lecture titled “Hiroshima Peace Memorial City Construction Law and Peacebuilding.”

We are now inviting HU students who are interested in these topics to join this unique learning opportunity, conducted in English together with the visiting students from Santo Tomás University.
This is also a great chance for those studying Spanish to put their language skills to the test through interaction with native speakers.
